Framing Guide For Your Fine Art Prints!

Framing Guide For Your Fine Art Prints!

You’ve fallen in love with a beautiful piece of artwork—now comes the fun part: choosing the perfect frame to bring it to life.

Framing can completely transform the way a piece feels in your space. Whether you're going for something bold and dramatic or soft and understated, the frame you choose sets the tone.

From my experience, the vibrant colors in many of my prints pair beautifully with either a simple gold frame and white mat (for a timeless, elegant look) or a classic white frame with a white mat (for a clean, modern vibe). Both styles let the artwork shine while fitting effortlessly into a variety of home decor styles.

While all of my prints are now available with professional framing as an option at checkout, I know some collectors enjoy the flexibility and creativity of framing on their own. If that’s you—I’ve got you covered.

Below, I’ve gathered some of my favorite Amazon frame finds that pair perfectly with the print sizes I offer. These are great quality, easy to use, and beautiful options if you’d rather DIY your framing.

Once you’ve selected your print, the next step is finding the perfect frame to showcase it! Framing doesn’t have to be overwhelming—and it certainly doesn’t have to break the bank. While custom framing is always an option, there are plenty of beautiful and budget-friendly alternatives that still feel just as polished.

Below, I’m sharing two gold frame styles I personally love for smaller print sizes. I’ve included example images featuring some of my artwork so you can see how the colors come to life in each frame style—sometimes the right frame makes all the difference!

16x20" Wide Black Frame (gold may be available) for a 11x14" print

 11x14" Gold Frame for a 8x10" print
16x20" Gold Frame for a 11x14" print

The 24x30" frame shown above is also available in the two smaller sizes I mentioned earlier, which makes it a great choice if you're planning a gallery wall or want a cohesive look across multiple print sizes.

If you're hoping to include a mat, I recommend professional framing for prints larger than 18x24"—it ensures a clean, secure fit. That said, you can still use the frame above for an 18x24 print without a mat for a sleek, full-bleed look.

Now, let’s talk about square-sized prints. Below are a few of my favorite framing options that pair beautifully with artwork in this proportion.

12x12"  Gold Frame for a 10x10" print

16x16" Gold Frame for a 12x12" Print

24x24" White Frame for a 20x20" Print

18x18" White Frame for a 14x14" Print

 Happy Shopping!
